Status | Description | Additional Notes |
---|---|---|
Draft | Your email is saved as a draft and needs to be sent or scheduled if it’s ready. | You can edit a draft email whenever you want. |
Processing | This status shows up till the time we review your email content to ensure you are not using any objectionable language or violating our policies. Generally, it takes around 10 to 30 minutes. | If you’re sending emails to a myriad of customers, the processing time may increase in such a situation. |
Scheduled | It signifies that your email has been approved and will be sent as per your scheduled time. | |
Sent | It indicates that your emails have been sent successfully as per your settings. It can either be a scheduled email or an email sent immediately. | |
Sending | When email newsletters are sent in batches, they are delivered to recipients one by one in the backend. During this process, the email status remains as Sending until all messages are sent. | |
Rejected | You’ll see this status due to two reasons: | |
i) When you have manually canceled your scheduled emails. | ||
ii) When our algorithms identify any sort of suspicious email activity, they simply reject the emails to keep the spam rate down. In some cases, your account can be suspended owing to a violation of our policies. | Read also: Why am I not able to send emails from my AfterShip Email account? | |
